One of my primary goals this year was to launch a new website for knivis. For this new site I decided to use one of those video spokespeople. Which seemed to be a good idea but I would appreciate the feedback from others their thoughts on the video spokesperson on my new knivis site.

IIS Web Site Manager CFC

For some time now I have been looking for a way to administer IIS with ColdFusion. I have done numerous Web queries to find if anybody had already created CFCs to do this... l had no luck finding one.

So this weekend I sat down and created it myself utilizing CFexecute and IISWeb.vbs. I found it relatively easy to create the component I needed using the iisweb.vbs for IIS. I also for the first time created a project and put my code to open source for anyone to use.…
