cfCommunity - one month on: Traffic report

Posted on December 11, 2007 at 22:28 2 Comments

I thought I would quickly create a blog post about how much traffic there has been on the site in it's first month and I would also like to thank everyone for showing your support. We've nearly 600 members :)

We started of with a big surge and we've now come to a average rate of approx 100 > 150 users per day with an average page view of 8 pages.

With 123-reg having some major issues just after the site… Continue

Thanks nick! I had a telephone interview on Friday that went really, really well... now I'm just waiting for an in-person interview. I'm kind of excited. I could potentially start making the kind of money that a developer SHOULD be making... :o)

I'd be glad to. We'll be going production/1.0 before the year is over. A "preview" interview would be cool.

Tried sending this in a message to you, but something was wrong with the send message feature.

looks like you have a fun spammer. I get them on my communities, and as well. They are annoying. Only way i've found so far is to have members report them.

Have you come up with any other great ideas?

I will see if we can get the other site unblocked on our end.

I sent a service issue with the site and haven't heard back. Our company uses SmartFilter for Internet blocking and it blocks the CSS (and possibly JS) for this site since it is hosted on a host that is blocked. Could you move the CSS and JS to this site's URL?

I wasn't aware of any open source CRM systems. Your question prompted me to do a search for Open Source CRM which turned up openCRX which looks promising. It may even be able to be deployed on JRun. I'd be interested in your opinion if you take the time to check it out.

Our system is coming along. Phase 1 which merely replaces the existing CRM application is slated to go into Beta internally in 2 weeks. Phase 2 will incorporate Exchange integration as well as expand/improve upon what is currently in place. I'm thinking we'll have a 3rd phase as well, but we haven't nailed down the functionality to be added in phase 3.

PayPal Cart Integration

Hey guys,I know I haven't been on here in a little while. I'm hoping one of you will have some information on this...A client of mine asked me to integrate PayPal into their existing custom shopping cart. It's just the typical old PayFlow-style, send the browser to PayPal and then bring them back afterward. I read through all the documentation and I've got it creating the form and sending to PayPal and it all works. Now PayPal says form encryption is not required, although they also say you…See More
