CFUnited is on the schedule this year

For a couple years now I have not been able to attend CFUnited. This year, I did everything in my power to make it a priority. It has paid off! Registration has been completed, tickets bought, hotels reserved - I'm ready to go.

Newest Addition to the Family

I'm very proud to announce the arrival of Taylor Renee Young. Born to my baby sister, Margie and her "high school sweetheart and the love of my life" (from her myspace page), Jared.

Taylor Renee was born at 12:24 a.m. on Monday, May 26, 2008. She weighed in at 5 pounds 15.4 ounces (the doctor predicted Margie would have a 6 pound baby) at 18 inches long. She has the thickest black hair and the largest eyes!

My new computer arrives tomorrow!

I have been debating with myself whether to buy a new computer or not. After all, I did buy a new laptop (Mac Book) a little over a year ago. The problem is, the Mac Book I have is limited to 2GB RAM. I prefer to set up my development environment so that I can do everything on one machine. If I am to do this, I need to have ColdFusion, Apache, and (because most clients I work with use MS SQL) Parallels with Windows XP and MS SQL server running on the same machine.
